Clinical Case

Niki was brought to the clinic with an injury obtained during a walk. While she was running, she hit her right side against a protruding piece of iron, causing a lacerated and contused wound.

The wound was sutured, but her clinical picture was not good: the piece of skin showed necrotic tissue and some stiches began to come undone in some points. A surgical curettage of the wound was carried out, with removal of the necrotic skin flap and a second stitch up.

Therapy

It was decided to submit Niki to MLS® Laser Therapy sessions. The “Wound (infected)” program was applied the first two times, to then switch to the “Wound” program.

Between each MLS® Laser Therapy session, the wound was also medicated with Hypermix.
