Clinical Case
  • Animal suffering from atopic dermatitis, keratoconjunctivitis sicca and cognitive dysfunction.
  • The subject is referred to the rehabilitation centre following an acute episode of pain in the neck.
  • Currently on NSAID, Tramadol, gabapentin, cyproheptadine therapy.
Clinical Examination
  • Marked pain on palpation and passive neck movements
  • Ventral neck muscle stiffness
  • No obvious neurological deficits
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Protocol
  • Laser puncture was associated with other analgesic therapies (Fentanyl patch, laser therapy and muscle relaxants)
  • During the first two weeks, laser puncture was administered every day with an MLS Therapy Laser.
