Artemis receiving MLS Laser Therapy

Clinical Case

Artemis developed a form of tetraparesis over a short time, showing increasingly severe progressive symptoms. She was hospitalized and given cortisone therapy. The instrumental tests performed did not reveal any abnormality. The first symptoms were lameness and right hind limb weakness. This weakness increased to develop into tetraparesis.

Therapy

In addition to the tetraparesis there was also a marked muscle atrophy and pressure sores. Various programs were used with the Blue MLS Therapy Laser device: “wound,” “arthrosis,” and “back pain.”
In addition to the MLS® Laser Therapy, Artemis underwent hydrotherapy and electro stimulation.

Results

Artemis returned home on her legs after three weeks of hospitalisation.
As maintenance therapy, she undergoes two sessions per month of MLS® Laser Therapy and hydrotherapy.
