Case Study: Blu, A Cat With Eosinophilic Granuloma

Clinical Case

Patient with seasonal allergies (Feline Atopic Skin Syndrome – “FASS”)
The patient presented with abdominal licking as a general symptom while undergoing immunotherapy for allergy. 
During the clinical examination, the presence of eosinophilic plaques was detected. 
Cytology confirmed the clinical suspicion.

Therapeutic Protocol
  • Medical therapy: local anti-inflammatories and antibiotics (betamethasone and fusidic acid)
  • MLS® Laser Therapy with M-VET device: 6 treatments on alternate days for the first two weeks, then two treatments per week for one week, and finally one treatment per week for 12 weeks. 
  • Eosinophilic Granuloma” Program
  • Topical applications of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic drugs (betamethasone and fusidic acid)
Results

After the first sessions, the owner immediately reported a reduction in itching.
The size of the lesions progressively decreased, with a 90% reduction at the end of the treatments
