Horse with Carpal Chronic Edema and Fibrosis
Equine Case Study
Species: Horse
Gender: Female
Age: 7 years old
Name: Raybann
Clinical case:
In consequence of a wound to the carpus caused by a foreign body (piece of wood) and the resulting infection, Raybann has developed a chronic edema with fibrosis of the joint.
During this period, Raybann could not attend any race.
Therapy:
Raybann had 5 MLS® Laser Therapy sessions: three in the first week and two in the second, using the program “chronic inflammation.”
Thanks to MLS®, Raybann has gone back to competing.
