Effects of PEMFs-ELFs (Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields-Extremely Low Frequencies) on Morphology and Differentiation of C2C12 Mouse Myoblast Cell Line

The aim of this study was to analyze ELF-PEMFs (50Hz, 2mT) effect on a myoblast model (C2C12 cell line) through morphological and molecular assays.

The results showed that ELF-PEMFs are able to induce in the myoblast model a biological response consisting in cytoskeleton remodeling and increase in expression of myogenesis markers.
