Energy for Health, Volume 7

L. Dragone, S. Palladini, M. Glazar

Study Objective:

This case report was designed to see the effect of MLS, when combined with other adjunct therapies, in the treatment of pressure ulcers and open wounds in  4 dogs.

Conclusion:

When MLS laser therapy was combined with a rehabilitation program consisting of hydrotherapy, passive and active range exercises and topical ointment, all four dogs saw a significant decrease in size of the wound. MLS laser therapy was deemed an effective and valid therapy for refractory wound healing disorders such as decubitus ulcers and open wounds.
