Case Study: Mia, a Pekingese with Suspected Thoracolumbar Intervertebral Disc Disease
Mia presented with acute hind limb paralysis and non-ambulatory paraparesis, with suspected thoracolumbar disc protrusion. Conservative treatment with rest, exercises, gabapentin, and supplements showed poor response. MLS® Laser Therapy was then administered over the T10–L3 spine and bilateral knees, followed by monthly maintenance sessions.
Case Study: Micio, Cat with Brachial Plexus Injury
The patient presented with right forelimb monoplegia, absent proprioception, reflexes, and sensation. Radiographs revealed a comminuted gunshot fracture of the distal humerus. Due to the guarded neurological prognosis, surgery was not recommended.
